Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday, December 27th. The accident took place on I15, at approximately 12:56 p.m.

At the time of the accident, the first vehicle, a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, was headed north. When the 32-year-old male driver reached mile 122, she crossed a patch of snow and lost control of the vehicle. Her vehicle crossed over the median, before colliding with the second vehicle, a 2022 Ford F150. The driver of the Ford, a 54-year-old woman, had been traveling southbound at the time.

Following the collision, the female driver of the Ford was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. The male driver of the Chevrolet was not transported. Reports include that both drivers wore seatbelts at the time of the collision.
