Investigation is ongoing as Idaho State Police seek more information regarding a vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday, December 6th. The collision involved two vehicles, and took place on US20, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

The first vehicle, a 2012 Toyota Tundra, was being driven by a 44-year-old woman from Idaho Falls. She was traveling eastbound on US 20. At approximately 8:41 a.m., as she reached mile 315, she lost control of her vehicle, before rolling through the median and into the westbound lanes. The Toyota struck another vehicle, a 2024 Toyota Rav4, driven by a 64-year-old woman from Rigby.

Following the accident, the drivers of both vehicles were urgently transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
